Initial Consultation
A virtual or in-person consultation is set up to understand your design goals, preferences, budget, and timeline. We then explain the design process, deliverables, and how the collaboration will work.
Space Measurement & Submission
If using our virtual service, we provide you with our step-by-step measuring guide. From there you’ll be able to accurately measure your space and provide us detailed dimensions, photos, and any existing floor plans. If you choose our in-person option, we are happy to measure and photograph your desired space!
Design Creation & Review
We mix our one-of-a-kind designs with a strong understanding of your personal aesthetic, to implement the perfect room tailored just for you. We are passionate about making the ideas in your head come to life and providing spaces you’ll love coming home to. We will send you the custom design plan, including mood boards, floor plans, 3D renderings, and material selections. We then conduct a final meeting to review the design, discuss any adjustments, and finalize the plan.
Design Creation & Review
After design and approvals of any revisions have been finalized, you will receive a detailed design package with shopping lists, links to purchase items, and implementation instructions. We also offer additional in-person consultations if needed.

- 1 Hour phone or in person consultation
- Assist clients in selecting paint colors for walls, ceilings, and trim
- Provide a comprehensive review of color schemes for different areas of the home
- Multiple brands of sample chips including paint, roman clay, and lime wash

How do we get started?
After deciding which service works best for your project, please fill out the inquiry above! From there, we will schedule an in home consultation or virtual consultation. After this meeting and we have the room specs, we then create a one-of-a-kind design and provide you with 3D renderings of your space.

Can I use pieces and decor I already have?
Definitely! Mixing treasured pieces, old and new, makes projects feel more personal and brings a sense of character to the room. With that said, we are transparent with our clients about what works and what doesn’t within the design we provide.

How will we communicate during projects?
Communication is typically through email or phone. If contacted through Instagram or other social media platforms, we will get your info to communicate via email (just so it’s all in one place!).

Why buy products through Katie Perri Design?
We source and purchase our products from a variety of local shops, antique stores, trade vendors, as well as online and catalogue retailers, all tailored to your unique design. We are transparent about the pricing of individual pieces and never mark up from the original retail price.

Can we do projects in phases?
Yes! Projects can absolutely be divided into phases by single room at a time or a group of rooms, or the whole house depending on what is convenient for you and your budget!
